Katie Keith (Executive Director)

Katie Keith has been the director of UASP since 2018, and has worked in childcare for over 10 years. She currently serves as co-president of the Newton After School Association and is on the Newton Community Ed. Commission. Some of Ms. Katie's favorite activities at UASP include running the 4th and 5th Grade Adventure Club, climbing up the structure (with helpful tips from the Kindergarteners), and playing capture the flag.

Sarah Morin (Director of Programming and Marketing)

Sarah Morin has been the UASP Program Manager since 2018, and has worked with K-12th grade students for over 8 years in a both classroom and extracurricular setting. (Did you know Ms. Sarah was a Math Interventionist at Underwood?) With an extensive background in theater and theater education Sarah strives to bring the performing arts to UASP with the annual musical!

Andrew Blacquier  (Associate Director)

Andrew has worked with preschool and elementary aged children for the past eight years, and has worked specifically as an after school administrator for the past two. He has experience in curriculum development for ages 4-7, and is looking forward to integrating a variety of educational activities and fun new games into UASP this year!

Ms. Savannah (2nd-5th Grade)

Ms. Savannah (2nd-5th Grade)

Savannah is so excited for another year at UASP. She is originally from Tennessee, and is currently attending grad school at Simmons University for library science and history. Savannah has experience working with kids in various after school and camp settings! Some of her favorite activities at UASP include dodgeball, capture the flag, and Adventure Club!

Ms. M is childcare professional with over 12 years of experience. She loves the variety of activities she gets to do with her students, including art, gym and cooking. She also loves crossword puzzles, puzzle games, and listening to music.

Ms. Caitlin (1st Grade)

Caitlin is full of excitement to work at the same place she spent her elementary school days - UASP! With experience as a camp counselor for first graders, she loves everything from being out on the playground to arts and crafts. Caitlin can't wait to teach and guide the kids to having the best experience at UASP, just like she did!

Ms. Yasi is passionate about working with children and is excited to bring her love for music and the arts to UASP. Through fun and engaging activities, she creates a safe environment where students can freely explore their creativity.

Ms. Margret (2nd-5th Grade)

Margret is excited for her second year with UASP! She loves painting, crafting, and all sorts of art activities. She can't wait to get back and catch up with the kids over watercolor or coloring.

Mrs. G (Amelia Garapetian)

Amelia is so excited to be back at UASP for another fun year! She can't wait to meet new students and greet our old students. Amelia is also known as Ms. G. She works as a Behavioral Therapist at the Stride Program in Cabot School during the day. In the afternoons, Ms. G comes to UASP and helps out with dismissing the students. Ms. G loves dogs and owns her own dog boarding place. During her free time, she likes to travel and spend time with her two daughters and husband.

Alexa is starting her first year at UASP, she has previously worked in after school and is currently a graduate student at Boston College pursuing a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. Alexa graduated from Drexel University in 2021 with a BA in English and Creative Writing, she is especially excited to work with students on creative projects!
